Monroe, episode 1

I watched all six episodes of this yesterday. I wanted to check it out because of Tom Riley for whom I had a soft spot ever since I saw him in that film with Juliete Binoche who I adore, plus I’ve always liked medical dramas and wanted to see a british take on the genre. It’s not particularly original - it’s kind of a mix of House (the personalities of the two senior surgeons) and Grey’s Anatomy (the interns and their drama) but the characters are great, very realistic and symptathetic. And truth to be told, I would watch it for the cinematography alone - I had no idea you could make the operating room so pretty!
